Yellow bins (recycling bins)

Additional fees for the 'Convenience Service' (Komfortservice)
If residents request for city employees to put out and take in the waste bins at locations non-compliant to the municipal by-laws, the city charges additional fees for each container.

Waste bags - when the bin is not enough
Please check: Does the waste fit into the bin? Does the lid close without problems?
Overfilled waste bins and waste, which lies next to the bins, can lead to waste pollution and may attract vermin. In addition, the volume exceeds the amount of waste paid for with the waste charge.
If only occasional waste is generated:
- For excessive amounts of waste, you will receive residual or organic waste bags subject to charges at the citizen centers (Bürgerämter). The bags should be placed on the edge of the road by 6 am on the day of disposal.
- Residual waste or organic waste bins, which are emptied biweekly, can also be provided in the interim week if necessary. The additional collection will be calculated separately.
- Excessive amounts of paper / cardboard and waste intended for green and yellow bins can be handed over at all recycling stations free of charge.
