All the year round, friendly Heidelberg experts are waiting at the Main Train Station and in the Old Town to provide you with any information you may need. Monday through Saturday they are there to answer your questions about Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region and provide you with tips on what excursions to make and what events shouldn't be missed in this picturesque city. 

From April to October the Tourist Information Office at the Main Train Station is also open on Sundays and public holidays. You will find the Tourist Information Office at the City Hall (Rathaus) in the main market place in the heart of the Old Town – a perfect starting point for an eventful day in Heidelberg. 

If you want to share some of your memories of Heidelberg, you might bring some souvenirs. There are gift shops at the Castle, at the Marktplatz, along Hauptstraße and Steingasse and in close proximity to all the sights.
