Submit application for the Baden-Württemberg rural doctor quota

If you would like to study human medicine, you can apply for the rural doctor quota in Baden-Württemberg. 75 places to study human medicine have been allocated annually for the winter semester since 2021.

This allows you to study at one of the state's five renowned faculties in Freiburg, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ulm or Tübingen.

Responsible department

nationwide: Department 98 in the Stuttgart Regional Council

The areas for which such a need exists will be decided after completion of specialist training.

  • Complete the online form in full.

For this purpose, the Stuttgart Regional Council will forward your application to the Foundation for University Admission, which will then send you the final letter of admission, which you can use to enrol at the university assigned to you.
