"Digital City" forum

The "Digital City" forum glanced at the digital tomorrow. More than 400 visitors took part in the forum at Dezernat 16. Here, they had lively discussions with experts and visited one of the many lectures on offer. There even was a piece of digitality to touch: Pepper, the humanoid robot. Ten topics were discussed and projects therefor developed: energy and environment, administration, healthcare, commerce, security, transport, education, society, IT infrastructure and the urban data platforms.
The results of the forum were part of the city's digital strategy.
In March 2017, the City of Heidelberg submitted its application for the "Digital City" competition of the Bitkom Association.
