Appointments with Heidelberg’s Local Disabilities Officer

Since January 2016 the City of Heidelberg has had a Local Disabilities Officer – Christina Reiss. The Local Disabilities Officer is an ombudsman and hence a point of contact for anyone with questions about disabilities in the city. She is also responsible for promoting the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities at a municipal level.

The appointments are open not only to those with disabilities or chronic medical conditions, and their relatives, but also to anyone else with suggestions about how to improve inclusiveness in Heidelberg.
