The women's shelter provides a safe place to stay, protection, support and guidance to women and their children who have experienced psychological, physical and/or sexual violence. There is a dedicated member of staff for children.

Walk-in clinic for victims of violence – Institute for Forensic Medicine (Heidelberg University Hospital)

At the walk-in clinic, victims of physical and/or sexual violence can get a free and immediate forensic examination, legally valid documentation of the injuries they have received and have any evidence collected. There is no obligation to press charges.

Intervention agency for women and children (Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.)

At the Intervention agency, we counsel women and girls who are experiencing violence in their relationship and who urgently need help. The intervention agency acts as a coordinating office and drop-in centre for women and children as part of the Protection Against Violence Act and when seeking restraining orders. Stalking is another area of focus. Interpreters can be brought in when needed.
We also counsel girls and young women whose ability to live a self-determined life is being prevented by their families and/or who are threatened with a marriage against their will.

Frauennotruf gegen sexuelle Gewalt an Frauen und Mädchen e.V. (Women's emergency call for action against sexual violence)

The women's emergency hotline supports women and girls 14 years and up experiencing all types of sexual violence through advice and counselling, crisis intervention, helping them achieve a stabile situation and guidance during court proceedings. This advice and counselling is confidential and free of charge.
